AIA COTE LBSB supports member communities in achieving a resilient net zero future by promoting equitable and sustainable building practices, advocating for environmental and energy related policy, and raising public awareness around issues of climate change and effects of a more sustainable built environment on public health, safety, and well being.

What we do

The committee hosts the COTE Presents program series, with talks on topics like electrification, embodied carbon, and sustainable design, alongside monthly committee meetings. Upcoming programs are listed below.

AIA LBSB COTE worked with the City of Long Beach Community Development Department in creating a Consider Going All-Electric flyer, unveiled at their October 25, 2023, joint program.
