This project has a striking front elevation and successful entry condition. It is difficult to design a house of this size and maintain a sense of scale. Thoughtful consideration was given to the outdoor and interior experience.

This is beautiful. The designers were able to create a variety of intimate spaces in a vast landscape creating happy spaces. Poetic use of water and reflections to bounce light. A great site plan with restraint. This project shows that landscape is just as important as the building.

A nod to early California Modernism, this house embraces outdoor spaces as an extension of the interior with thoughtful detailing and beautiful shading devices, making these exterior “rooms” habitable. Throughout the house there is a relationship to the landscape through views, both far and near.
