Allie Schieble Harding, AIA, is a licensed architect and project leader with more than 14 years of experience spanning residential, commercial, and government architecture. Her career has increasingly centered on custom residential design, where she brings together thoughtful design, strong project leadership, and a collaborative approach to guide projects from early concept through construction.
Currently with Oatman Architects in Newport Beach, Allie leads complex residential projects throughout Southern California, working closely with clients, consultants, designers, and builders to translate a shared vision into thoughtfully designed and well-executed homes. Prior to joining Oatman Architects in 2020, she spent nearly a decade designing homes in Long Beach, developing both a deep appreciation for the character of the city’s neighborhoods and a strong connection to its architectural and design community.
As Vice President and President-Elect, Allie is committed to strengthening AIA’s role as both a professional resource and a community for architects at every stage of their careers. She is particularly passionate about advancing and retaining women in architecture, expanding opportunities for mentorship and leadership, and creating a profession that better supports parents and caregivers. She believes that building a more inclusive and sustainable profession means creating pathways for talented architects to continue growing as designers and leaders through every stage of their lives and careers.
Through her leadership with AIA, Allie hopes to strengthen connections among local professionals, elevate the value and visibility of architects within the broader community, and help cultivate the next generation of architectural leadership.
Allie earned her Master of Architecture from Virginia Tech in 2012 and her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia in 2008. She lives in Long Beach with her husband, Ryan, their two daughters, Wesley and Maddie, and their English bulldog, Hoagie. Outside of architecture, she enjoys exploring Long Beach’s diverse neighborhoods with her family—trying local restaurants and shops, discovering new parks and playgrounds, and spending time at the beach.
