Mr. Collins is a licensed architect and a LEED Accredited Professional and is currently a Principal at Partner Energy and Director of the Sustainability/Green Certifications team providing design consulting, and project management for projects pursuing green certification such as LEED, GreenPoint Rated and others; Zero Net Energy, energy modeling, commissioning, and HERS verifications.  He has over twenty years of experience in architecture, urban design, and sustainable design consulting, his experience includes design, construction administration, building energy / water benchmarking and analysis, resource conservation measures, and green certification project management. Mr. Collins is also a Certified Sustainable Building Advisor, a Green Globes Professional, a Green Globes Assessor, and an ARC Performance professional. He has provided design and consulting solution for various types of buildings including institutional, office, mixed-use, retail, schools, and multifamily residential properties. Mr. Collins has led the completion of more than 50 Green certified projects including LEED Platinum and Net-Zero projects for new buildings and existing construction for Partner Energy clients.

In addition to his professional experience, Mr. Collins is the President of the Southern California Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects (SoCalNOMA), on the Homefree Champions Advisory Board for the Healthy Buildings Network, a member of the AIA-LA committee on Affordable Housing and was the founding Co-Chair of the US Green Building Council Long Beach Branch. He also lecturers at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering and is a design juror at the USC School of Architecture, Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc), and at Cal Baptist University. He has also been an adjunct professor at Long Beach City College and has been a guest speaker at many local colleges, for professional organizations, and at national conferences teaching green building principles and sustainable design strategies. His work and writings have been featured in multiple publications including, Metropolis Magazine, Sustainable Industries, and Commercial Observer. Mr. Collins was born and raised in Seattle Washington and is a graduate of the Cornell University school of Architecture, Art, and Planning and the University of California Los Angeles School of Architecture and Urban Design. He currently resides in Long Beach, California.

Eric Nulman is an architect, educator and civic leader based in Los Angeles. As a practicing architect since 1999, Eric has worked on a range of project types including cultural, institutional, commercial office, sports, entertainment, retail, multi-family housing, historic preservation, and custom single-family residences. In his early career, Eric worked with several design offices including Pritzker Prize winners Thom Mayne (Morphosis – Santa Monica) and Jean Nouvel (Ateliers Jean Nouvel – London and Paris). In 2007 Eric returned from London and accepted a full-time Lecturer position at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where he taught design studios, building technology courses, and history/theory seminars until 2011. In 2011 Eric joined USC SoA to teach material-centered designed studios and materials of construction technology courses and currently holds the title of Adjunct Associate Professor. In 2012 Eric received the New Faculty Teaching Award from ACSA/AIAS; a national award recognizing demonstrated excellence in teaching performance during the formative years of an architectural teaching career. In 2013-2014, Eric was a Fellow and Artist in Residence at MacDowell in New Hampshire where he completed “Mono Environments” – a study of ephemeral ornament by constructing maquettes of light filtering membranes. From 2016-2019 he was a Board of Director and VP of Operations for the LA Forum for Architecture and Urban Design; an independent nonprofit organization that instigates dialogues on design and the built environment through public programming, exhibitions, and publications. In 2021 he began development of hillside residential projects as END (Eric Nulman Design). In 2021 he was appointed to the Planning Commission by the City of Rancho Palos Verdes for a multi-year renewable term. In 2022 he attended the Cal Cities Planning Commissioner Academy as a representative of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes (RPV). In 2023 Eric joined the RPV Planning Commission Zoning Subcommittee. Eric has Architecture degrees from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo (BARCH) and Harvard University (MARCH). Eric was born in Los Angeles and currently resides in the South Bay with his wife and two children.

As a Principal and Education Practice Leader for CannonDesign’s Los Angeles office, Jenny partners with colleges and universities across the country to design spaces and strategies that address campus challenges and strengthen opportunities for learning and advancement.

From growing up in Mexico to living and working in LA, a hub of international influences and one of the most diverse cities in the US, Jenny has built an indelible passion for design that advances equity and inclusion. For Jenny, working in education and across the country, the diverse voices and people she connects with never stop fueling her work.

Jenny received a Bachelor of Architecture from Universidad Autonoma de Yucatan, Mexico.

Then, she migrated to the US and joined CannonDesign in 2005 as an entry-level architect. Ever since, she’s thrived amidst a profession where roughly just 9% of architects in the US are Hispanic or Latino, and even fewer are female Mexican immigrants. She’s been pivotal to transformative education spaces for Ohlone Community College, Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine, California State University, Long Beach, the University of California system and Loma Linda University to name just a few clients.

“I’ve seen first hand the impact design can have on a community, a population of students, a life,” explains Jenny. “It matters deeply to me that I’m a steward for this profession and help it have even great human impact moving forward.”
