Bryan Winters, AIA, is the founder and principal of humnlab+ architecture, an award-winning design practice established in 2005 and focused on creating architecture that is distinctly human, experiential, and rooted in place.
A graduate of the University of Arizona and SCI-Arc, where he earned dual master’s degrees in history and philosophy with distinction, Winters developed his design perspective under the influence of architects including Michael Rotondi, Eric Owen Moss, Coy Howard, and Ray Kappe.
His work spans custom residential architecture, multifamily housing, commercial projects, adaptive reuse, and large-scale urban development. His approach combines rigorous modern design with material authenticity, environmental responsiveness, and the belief that architecture should do more than solve a program—it should evoke an emotional response.
Winters is a licensed architect, NCARB Certified, and a member of the American Institute of Architects. In addition to professional practice, he contributes to architectural education and the broader design community through teaching, advisory and board roles, and industry panels.
